The Flying Colors of the Pacific
Description of Activity:
Students will create a poster board to showcase what island or country they come from. On the poster students must put a map, picture of the country's flag and lyrics to the national anthem. Key facts such as the language, customs, traditions, beliefs, clothing, historical sites and type of government must also be included. Students will present their posters to the classmates and those posters will be put up in class to create a cultural bulletin board
Technology Integration:
Students will use the Internet to search for their flags, map, picture, national anthem, and the Key facts of their Countries.
Student Learning Outcome:
The students will be able to create a poster board that will showcase their country’s map, flag, lyrics to the national anthem and key facts about it.
The students will be able to present their posters following a rubric..
